In 2020, AHB was selected to conduct phase two of the innovator platform: Public sector scaling support for maternal, newborn and child innovators in low-and middle-income countries in Africa.
AHB is currently supporting GCC with the implementation of a ten (10) month public sector scaling platform to support the maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) innovations in low-and middle-income countries supported through the Grand Challenges Canada Transition to Scale program. Throughout the program, AHB provides an understanding of the local public procurement systems, processes, and actors. The aim of the public sector scaling platform is to help innovators successfully develop and/or implement public sectors scaling strategies and ultimately increase the impact of GCCs investments.
